JAZZOO 2007
Was a HUGE HIT!
More than 5,000 Kansas Citians attended Jazzoo
this year. Guests enjoyed an evening of unlimited
food, drink and music while making a real, tangible community
impact. Jazzoo funds support a special diet for over 800
animals and supports the Zoo Learning fund…..a fund designed
to create educational programs for kids of all ages in our
community.

The KC
All Stars would like to send an
ELEPHANT sized THANK YOU! to Katie Gerson, Nancy Nail,
Randy Wisthoff, Julie Neemeyer and all of the Jazzoo staff for having us on the main stage this
year. |

The KC All
Stars have performed several events for The Friends of the Zoo over the
years, but this year's Jazzoo was by far the best show yet! We're
not sure how many people turned out this year, but they were ready to
party! At one time during the night there were at least 30 people on
stage singing and dancing along with us. A rowdy but well behaved
crowd, they demanded multiple encores and really made our night special.
|
| The
organization of Jazzoo this year was a credit to The Kansas City community
as a whole and it was obvious that a lot of hard work and planning went
into the entire production. There is no doubt that Jazzoo has earned
the right to be called one of the best charity events in the country. |

This is
Lawrence Jackson on congas, lead vocals and trumpet...it is rumored that
he collected a few phone numbers that night. His version of "The
Humpty Dance" is always a big crowd pleaser.
 |
| The KC All Stars put a lot of thought and planning into this year's
performance. They wanted to be sure to give the patrons their
money's worth and then some. We were told by several local
nightclubs that hosted the "after party" phase of Jazzoo that The KC All
Stars were a hot topic among the wild eyed buzzed Jazzoo-ers.
Thank you
Jazzoo once again for the opportunity to perform for you and your guests
and we'll see you by the monkey cages!
